Camp Mattakeesett

A week filled with fun, friendship, and faith!

Camp Mattakeesett is 5 day summer camp experience for girls ages 9 to 13 that takes place in August of each year in New Hampshire.  The goals of the camp is to help young girls develop good friendships and see an example of how to integrate one's Catholic faith into your every-day life. 

High school and college women serve as Counselors and Counselors-in-Training during the camp.  If you are interested in being a counselor, please contact us

Service in the City  2.0

Service in the City 2.0

Service in the City is a week-long program for girls entering their sophomore year in high school. While living at Bayridge the attendees will have the chance to provide one-on-one academic tutoring for school-aged children, tour the city of Boston and learn more about service professions.


In addition, Service in the City now offers a character and leadership development feature in its program that will prepare the participants to make the most of their final years in high school. This program will help participants to grow in self-knowledge, self awareness, and the ability to think critically in order to identify and fulfill the needs around them.

Program Cost:  $400

Bayridge College Prep

Bayridge College Prep

College Prep at Bayridge Residence is for girls entering their junior or senior year in high school. The program will walk attendees through the application process, help them perfect their personal essay, and explain the financial aid process. It will also give them a chance to hone critical thinking skills in preparation for college life. There will also be work sessions on thriving in college and tours of several local major universities. 

Program Cost:  $400

Medical Career Seminar I

Are you thinking about becoming a doctor? These intensive, hands-on summer internships are for high schoolers interested in pursuing medicine. Students are eligible for MCS II the summer after completing MCS I.

Participants will:

> Study the professional vocation of a doctor
> Shadow medical professionals
> Consider the Christian meaning of suffering
> Discuss ethics in research and health care
> Analyze their personal study skills

Cost: MCS I is $400, MCS II is $200

Pocasset Prep is a fun-filled summer workshop for rising freshmen to help prepare each participant to be a positive role model in society. During the week, girls have the chance to set personal goals, learn core high school skills, and make local service trips.
