What: Dialogue is a conversation in which people with different belifes and perspectives seek mutual understanding. In today’s polarized society, it is quickly becoming a lost art. The goal of this workshop is to help participants:

• Reflect on how they communicate under stress and where they might need to strengthen their dialogue skills

• Learn skills that will help them to:

  • Disagree with others while preserving the relationship

  • Understand and show respect while not condoning what they do not believe

  • Ask questions that show genuine interest and promote understanding
